These Terms of Service govern your use of Top Roof Melbourne's website and roofing services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
Top Roof Melbourne provides roof restoration, repairs, painting, and related services for residential properties across Melbourne. All work is performed by licensed tradespeople in accordance with Victorian building regulations.
Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are provided in writing following an on-site inspection
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- The quoted price is fixed unless additional work is discovered and agreed upon
- Any variations must be approved in writing before work proceeds
Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required for larger projects (typically 10-20%)
- Final payment is due upon completion of work
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit cards
- For projects over $10,000, progress payments may be arranged
Warranty
All restoration work includes our 10-year workmanship warranty, which covers:
- Defects in our workmanship
- Failure of repairs we have performed
- Issues arising from our installation of materials
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by storms, falling trees, or other external events
- Normal wear and tear of materials
- Issues arising from work performed by others
- Pre-existing conditions not addressed in our scope of work
Access and Preparation
To enable our work, you agree to:
- Provide safe access to the roof and property
- Move vehicles from under or near the work area
- Protect or move items that could be affected by our work
- Ensure pets are secured during work hours
Weather Delays
Roofing work is weather-dependent. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to rain, extreme wind, or other unsafe conditions. We will notify you of any delays as soon as practical.
Cancellation
- You may cancel before work commences with no penalty
- If materials have been ordered, you may be liable for restocking fees
- Cancellation after work has commenced will be charged for work completed
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We carry$20 Million public liability insurance for your protection.
Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about our work, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Disputes that cannot be resolved directly may be referred to Consumer Affairs Victoria or relevant building dispute services.
